not a big fan. might be good if you sink a ton of time into learning how the fighting mechanics work but i have bigger issues with the game.

if you are going to start the player off with a weapon, and have it break after killing 3 enemies in the first dungeon then maybe the loot needs to be a little more generous. you can start out by buying certain items, but your starting gold is very low and often there arent any viable (or affordable) weapons for your character if they need literally any other items to start with.

Ive done a about a dozen runs now, I would say that most of my runs were a death march from the start due to bad randomization with only a few being remotely survivable due to luck and some practice with the fighting mechanics.

All of that aside I am sure people will just say 'git guud', but I'm still not sure what that has to do with me swinging my only weapon 3 times and it breaking.

Recently tried out this game due to it being on sale. And I have played most of the modes (Still find new things in the game every run i start) Its a lot of fun the combat is enjoyable and the different type of builds really make each run feel different. Zones are random and theres a bunch of cool bosses.
